This project explores spatial fluidity through an open-plan layout and double-height spaces that establish a continuous connection between the different areas of the house. Large openings introduce natural light in a controlled manner, creating bright interiors that maintain a strong relationship with the surrounding landscape.

The ground floor accommodates the social areas of the residence, while the upper level contains the private spaces. Toward the street, the house presents a more restrained façade that enhances privacy. In contrast, a large window on the upper floor takes advantage of expansive views toward the avenues and amenities of the residential community.

The architectural language is defined by clean lines and horizontal volumes. A palette of light-colored stone, natural wood, and large glazed surfaces creates a warm and understated character while reinforcing the connection between interior and exterior spaces.

The relationship between light, materiality, and vegetation plays a fundamental role in the project, resulting in a residence designed to feel open, calm, and closely connected to the tropical climate of Playa del Carmen.
