Casa Claustro is inspired by the typology of traditional Mexican cloisters, where a central courtyard becomes the organizing element of the architecture. The project brings together an extensive residential program around a primary courtyard that functions as a gathering space, terrace, and the social heart of the house.

The residence is organized through a horseshoe-shaped layout that clearly defines the different areas of the home, establishing a gradual transition between public and private spaces. This configuration creates a continuous relationship with the courtyard, which is perceived as the center of everyday life.

The central space concentrates collective activities and shapes the experience of the project, integrating natural light, ventilation, and outdoor living as fundamental components of the dwelling. The surrounding rooms open toward this void, reinforcing a sense of introspection, privacy, and shelter.

Casa Claustro reinterprets traditional architectural references through a contemporary language, where the courtyard not only organizes the program but also defines the way the house is experienced and inhabited.
