Casa D&N is a single-family residence conceived as a second home for a family that occupies the property seasonally. Developed on a long and narrow site, the design adopts a linear layout that maximizes the available width while establishing a constant relationship between the interior spaces and the central courtyard.

The spatial organization prioritizes long views and cross ventilation, creating a continuous sequence where the outdoors naturally becomes part of everyday living. The central courtyard serves as the project's organizing element, functioning both as an extension of the social areas and as a passive climatic regulator within the home.

Designed for gathering and entertaining, the house emphasizes open, flexible, and fluid spaces. The common areas extend seamlessly outdoors through large openings, allowing the terrace, garden, and swimming pool to operate as a single living environment throughout much of the year.

The project proposes an architecture that balances openness and privacy in dialogue with the local climate and way of life. The transition between interior and exterior spaces defines the experience of the house and reinforces its connection to the surrounding environment.
